The Orator

Project: The Phi Kappa Literary Society’s Semesterly Literary Magazine

Role: Editor

Date: October 2020 – February 2021

Every semester, it is tradition that The Phi Kappa Literary Society puts out a literary publication we call “The Orator” to showcase the work and talent of the society. Countless past members have been upholding this tradition for decades, and as Historian this semester, it was my turn.

Members and friends of the society submitted their art, poetry, and writing, and I assembled them into this booklet. You can find past Orators at http://www.phikappauga.org/orator

 Member Portraits

In a normal semester, I would photograph headshots of our members to put in The Orator. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic it was not feasible to meet with everyone in order to take their picture. For this Orator, I had to get creative and decided to draw our members instead.
